How does it work exactly?
PassFab for RAR comes with a clean and minimalist user interface that will let you immediately add files that you need to unlock passwords for after installation. PassFab for RAR offers three recovery methods for passwords to choose from. The first is called Dictionary Attack, and you can figure out the password from a customized or built-in dictionary. The second is Brute Force with Mask Attack, which essentially attempts to recover passwords based on parameters that you set. If all else fails, you can resort to plain Brute Force Attack using any and all recovery algorithms possible.
From there, it's just a matter of waiting for things to finish and the correct one is found. One thing to note with the free trial version is that it doesn't show the entire password to you, only a part of it. Also, there is no support for batch processing, which would have made things go a bit faster. Aside from those, it's a pretty straightforward fare.
